PASMA Training

This week the Fairs & Baker team have all been on the PASMA training coarse getting ourselves certified to safely erect and demount mobile towers and scaffolding up to 8 meters in height. In the past this has been something we have mostly sub-contracted to others however it is our aim to to be able to take full control of this internally within the company.

The need for safe and risk free working on building sites is becoming ever more scrutinized and it is our aim to ensure we are at the forefront of all training requirements.

On behalf of the Fairs and Baker Management we would like to congratulate everyone in the team for achieving their PASMA certification.

Well Done Everyone,

Duane & Tony (Fairs & Baker Ltd)

A Family Concern – The Sadler’s

Three Generations – The Fairs and Baker team would like to express our thanks to the Sadler family for there hard work, loyalty and commitment over the past two decades.

Among the workforce at Fairs & Baker are Grandfather Julian Sadler, his son Lee Sadler and Lee’s son Dylan who has recently joined as an apprentice.

The construction industry is being challenged heavily at the moment with a skills shortage in most sectors so investing in apprentices is key for Fairs & Baker going forward.

“We are extremely lucky to have the Sadler’s working for us and for there commitment over such a long period. Long may it continue.” – Fairs & Baker Limited
